Fill Up Your Rental Car before Turning it In 22

Are you looking for a surefire way to save some money on your next Orlando car rental or Denver airport car rentals? Well, I have a few friends in the car rental business, and they all tell me one thing: fill up the gas in your rental car before turning it in.

Why should you do this? It’s simple. The Orlando rental cars agencies charge a higher rate for gas when they have to refill it than if you were to pay at a local gas station. So, just taking a few moments to pull over at a gas station to fill up the rental car can save you several dollars.

But that’s not the only thing you can do to save at the car rental shop. Another insider tip is to bring your own car seat for your child. Rental car companies charge an extra fee if you need a car seat, and it can cost you several dollars. Just bring your car seat on the airplane, and you’ll have a fuller wallet at the end of your trip.

Do you have any tips for saving money when you rent a car? I’m telling you now-it pays to have friends who work at airport car rental companies.

There are some products on the market that are added to a vehicle for nothing more than the look they offer. This is not the case for all truck owners, of course. Many of the people that purchase quality accessories are looking to add function to the vehicles they have so that they do not have to worry about them or get more from their truck. This is why so many people find back rack investments valuable. The fact is, they really do add value to any vehicle that is driven and used in this way.

On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with getting some great looks from your truck accessories either. And, there are items that are just must haves, like the tonneau cover on the market now. The key is to find the product that is going to provide you with the type of service you need or is going to enhance the way you use your vehicle. Of course, truck lovers definitely want the latest and greatest for their vehicle whenever it is possible to get this. From back racks to other products, the key is to purchase quality so that you are never disappointed in what the vehicle can offer to you.

Do You Remember Your First Car? 12
Dec
Posted by TheTopCar in Auto Dealer, General on 12 12th, 2008

I was hanging out with an old friend from high school the other day, and the topic of our old rides came up. I remember how cool we both thought we were when we started driving. I was driving a Toyota 4Runner that was at least 7 years old. My dad and I had worked on that car for several months before it was ready to drive.

We added several Toyota accessories and Toyota 4Runner parts that we bought from a Toyota parts mall. Looking back on it, the car was a total dud. The body was really beat up, and the interior showed years of wear and tear. But I didn’t care. It was my first car, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I wonder where the 4Runner is now. I remember selling it through the classifieds right before I went off to college. I can’t imagine that it’s still driving, but who knows, maybe it is. Toyotas are great cars, and they can run for a long time if you maintain them.

So, do you remember what your first car was? Do you have any pictures of it? Tell me about them. I want to hear your first car stories!
